Beyond the Booth: RSAC 2025 Through Our Lens

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

We’re still reeling from RSA Conference 2025 — and wow, what an experience it was!

Over four action-packed days, we immersed ourselves in a truly transformative event —gathering insights from 37+ keynote presentations, engaging with 730+ top-tier speakers and exploring cutting-edge innovations from more than 650 exhibitors. This year’s conference didn’t just spotlight the future of cybersecurity and AI — it embodied it.

The expo floor buzzed with energy, hosting over 40,000 industry professionals all under one roof, all there to explore, connect and push the boundaries of what’s next in IT and cybersecurity.

We’ve put together the most memorable moments and key takeaways from the event.
Let’s dive in.

Furry friends of cybersecurity

Amid sleek AI and threat detection displays, some of the most surprising attractions had four legs and fur. Yup, you read that right.

Our booth was perfectly situated next to a miniature goat pen, complete with hay bales and a playful “Greatest of All Time (GOAT)” sign. These little icons brought smiles to everyone who passed by and offered a lighthearted contrast to the serious tech conversations happening all around.

But the goats weren’t the only stars.

Another booth featured puppies for adoption, adding an extra dose of warmth and joy. Attendees couldn’t resist stopping by for a quick cuddle — the calm between the storm.

AI stole the spotlight

The buzz around AI was everywhere. From expo booths to breakout sessions, it was clear that AI is no longer just a buzzword — it’s quickly becoming the backbone of modern cybersecurity.

The atmosphere was charged with curiosity and energy, as attendees came together to explore how AI can provide actionable intelligence to simplify complex tasks and reduce the mundane workload for IT professionals, helping them focus on other priorities.

Several live sessions revealed the often-overlooked capabilities of AI, with a standout being the DARPA AIxCC Experience — an immersive tour through the fictional city of Northbridge that showcased how AI-powered cybersecurity safeguards vital infrastructure.

Endpoint management: From manual to modern

One common theme in our conversations with attendees was the widespread reliance on manual endpoint management.

We learned that many IT professionals still manually manage their endpoints and are unaware of the existence of more efficient and secure endpoint management tools.

This gave us a first-hand opportunity to introduce the benefits of Datto RMM and Kaseya 365. We guided them through the advantages of efficient automation and centralized endpoint management and how it can save time and strengthen security, especially for IT teams who are expected to do more with less.

Backup has your back

While many booths showcased advanced threat intelligence tools, we found ourselves engaging in important conversations around a critical yet often underrated topic: data recovery and backup.

Despite rising threats, many IT professionals admitted that their organizations still lack a comprehensive recovery plan. This gap sparked important discussions about the role of reliable, automated backup solutions in business continuity strategies. Whether it’s endpoint backup or SaaS data protection, having a safety net that can minimize downtime and data loss resonated as a top priority for many.

Datto’s Backup Solutions stood out not just for their technical strength, but for the peace of mind they offer teams stretched thin and facing growing risks.

A moment of recognition: Celebrating big wins

The expo was not only about discovery and connection; it also offered a chance to celebrate innovation. One proud moment for our team was Kaseya being named Best Endpoint Security by Cyber Defense Magazine.

This recognition reflected the conversations we had throughout the event. IT professionals are actively seeking smart, scalable solutions that protect every endpoint without adding complexity. We are honored to be part of the momentum that is pushing the industry forward.

In addition to this, Miercom’s latest report validated the unmatched cybersecurity performance of Datto EDR and AV, officially certifying them as secure.

These achievements reinforce our ongoing mission: to help IT professionals simplify management and strengthen defense.
