Job Summary:

We have an open position in the QA team at our Datto Denmark Development office. Our group in Denmark develops multiple different products and you will be working in the Endpoint Security team building the next generation of security products for Datto. The job is to be a main QA person on the security products covering initially manual testing, script writing for stress testing and, as the product matures, extending into full QA automation.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • Review user stories for completeness of acceptance criteria 
  • Create manual test scripts from user stories, ensuring good test coverage
  • Execute script-based manual tests 
  • Investigate, create and retest bug reports while observing our agreed processes 
  • Contribute to application usability
  • Evaluate application functionality, security, and performance
  • Ensure that personal and team goals are met 
  • Participate in meetings

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience as a tester, with proven technical skills 
  • Experience testing complex applications, not just simple websites/microsites 
  • API, network and security testing 
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr 
  • Experience writing scripts and QA automation, preferable in Python
  • Good understanding of SDLC and QA best practice 
  • Good understanding of Windows, configuration, setup from both a support perspective and as a user
  • Interest in investigating complex issues, understanding technology, and drive to dig deeper as required to fully understand issues

Education:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience 
  • Windows certifications is an added advantage
