We are looking for a hard-working, highly motivated Treasury Associate to help support our Accounting department and Treasury function. The ideal candidate has excellent business acumen, highly motivated and detail oriented, focused on reducing risk, improving internal controls, and standardizing practices across the globe. The role will have access to accounting and finance leadership, use cutting-edge technology to automate and operate treasury processes, and be hands-on in the development and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting. This position will collaborate with various business units including Accounting, FP&A, SEC Reporting, Legal, Tax and financial institutions. The role will evolve over time to adapt to the changing needs of Datto and the initiatives of the growing Treasury function. The candidate must be able to drive projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes which result in greater transparency and understanding of financial information to drive data-driven analysis and decisions. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with experience working in a Treasury function and collaborating with financial institutions.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • Oversee the Company’s cash position including the monitoring of all inflows and outflows across its various financial institutions in adherence to the Company’s investment policy
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting related to debt, interest rates, FX exposure, and cash flows
  • Quarterly and annual debt compliance certificates and other ongoing requirements
  • Support the preparation of cash and debt related footnotes for 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings
  • Develop, document, and implement policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines to ensure auditability and compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Assist in the identification and mitigation of FX risk
  • Maintain the Company’s cash forecast
  • Manage Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees across the Company’s portfolio of subsidiaries
  • Assist with the internal and external audit process
  • Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency, automation, and optimization

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in a finance analyst role, preferably at a multinational corporation
  • Knowledge of finance & treasury concepts including debt, interest, and foreign exchange
  • Experience in working with banking software and/or online banking portals (JP Morgan Access preferred)
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Google Drive, and other automation tools (e.g., Alteryx)
  • Excellent communication skills (including written communication)
  • Highly organized, able to work on multiple deliverables and work under pressure
  • Maintains a solution-oriented mindset with strong follow-through and prioritization skills
  • Can document comprehensive processes to create standardization within the organization
  • Strong desire for continuous improvement and drive to execute changes
  • Team player with a positive attitude
