This program showcases the outstanding achievements of Datto partners in two categories: superlative- and metric-based. The Q2 2013 Winners
The Metrics Awards All Datto Partners were automatically entered for the metric based awards. Datto pulled data from its internal systems to determine the winners in each category.
New Rockstar on the Block This company sold the most appliances overall in their first three months as a Datto Partner. Vision Computer Services of Pampa, TX has been serving business and residential clients since 1990. They help clients throughout the Texas Panhandle with a full spectrum of computer services. Their goal is to deliver superior service and make sure that their clients’ systems run at their best.
Revenue Rockstar This Datto Partner had the most total sales, in U.S. dollars, in a given quarter. Flexible Systems of Hauppauge, NY is a full-service IT company. They provide IT support, IT services, customer support, IT consulting, computer repair, printer repair and Internet marketing services. This is Flexible Systems’ second consecutive Revenue Rockstar award.
Fastest Growing Partner This Datto Partner achieved the largest percentage of overall growth in a given quarter. InCare Technologies of Birmingham, Ala provides a complete suite of Managed Services including Backup and Disaster Recovery, Help Desk, Utility Computing, Cloud Desktops, Anti-Spam, Monitoring, and Remote Management. InCare serves SMB and Mid-Market Business Customers, as well as State and Local Government.
The Superlative Awards Written submissions were required for the superlative awards and were reviewed and judged by Datto’s management staff.
Superior Service This Datto Partner went above and beyond the call of duty for their client. TeamLogic IT – Memphis provides comprehensive computer services along with premier customer service, allowing companies to focus on the business, not IT. TeamLogic IT – Memphis (TLIT-Memphis) is member of the nationwide TeamLogicIT family.
Winning Scenario: One of TLIT-Memphis’ clients processes payroll for multiple companies, and at 2pm on a Friday (payday!), their servers crashed. TLIT determined the problem was with the server’s hard drives and hard drive controller. This might cause most businesses to panic, given the hundreds of employees that would have been irate should they not get paid. Luckily, TLIT and their client installed a Datto SIRIS two months prior to the server crash. Immediately after the crash, TLIT initiated their “real time disaster recovery protocol.” Within an hour, the client’s server was up and running. And everyone got paid. And the Datto SIRIS paid for itself.
Business Continuity Champion This Datto Partner successfully conveyed the value of business continuity and persuaded a client to change backup solutions. LMS Technical Services of Farmingdale, NY and New York, NY delivers support services for small and medium-sized businesses. They serve clients both locally and worldwide. LMS has premier 24/7 services utilizing automated network support software as well as a staff of expert IT professionals.
Winning Scenario: One of LMS’s clients, in the insurance field, was using an outdated backup, disaster recovery (BDR) solution (from a Datto competitor) that did not offer off-site virtualization. The outdated BDR had never been put to the test with an actual disaster, and LMS was concerned that should a disaster occur, the BDR would not be able to handle it. For the benefit of their client, LMS needed to upsell them on a Datto SIRIS. Using recent natural disasters as an example (Hurricane Sandy is still very real, especially on Long Island) and references to cloud virtualization as a viable option. LMS succeeded in selling Datto SIRIS to their client; the main feature that “won” was the time to virtualize on the SIRIS itself. LMS ran a virtualization comparison test: old BDR vs. SIRIS.
