But as an MSP looking to implement a BCDR solution, it’s important to find one that offers more than just technology. Look for a BCDR solution that benefits not only your clients’ backup and restore efforts, but your own business as well. Here are just a few of the criteria you should consider when evaluating BCDR solutions:
- Deployment options: Are you confined in how to deploy the service? Look for a vendor that offers flexible deployment options.
- Vendor experience: Are you able to manage your devices in a single pane of glass? Does the vendor offer other resources, such as sales and marketing tools to help you sell?
- Recovery options: Not all data recovery scenarios call for the same approach. Are you able to pick and choose how you restore your client’s data?
- Ease of use: Are you looking for a solution that requires certifications and hours of training to implement? Or maybe a solution that’s ready out of the box is more realistic for your organisation? Some BCDR tools are more intricate to use than others, so this is important to keep in mind.
