Two Datto Stars Named To 2014 CRN Women of the Channel List

Norwalk, CT (June 2, 2014) – Datto, one of the leading global vendors of award-winning hybrid cloud-based intelligent business continuity and backup, disaster and recovery (BDR) solutions, today announced that Christine Gassman, Datto Partner Development Manager, and Samantha Ciaccia, Datto Channel Engagement Manager, have been named as 2014 CRN Women of the Channel.
The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole. “Datto is so proud to have both Christine and Samantha recognized by a leading voice in the Channel like CRN,” stated Rob Rae, Datto Vice President of Business Development. “The position of Women in the Channel and in information technology, as a whole, is quickly transforming and I’m thrilled to have two of the emerging leaders here at Datto moving the industry forward.”
Gassman, who joined Datto in 2013, successfully revamped, implemented and manages a new and comprehensive Datto Partner Plus program, a resource that focuses on business development and support of over 8,000 Datto Partners worldwide. Christine represents Datto at numerous industry tradeshows and events throughout the year, connecting with Partners face-to-face. Ms. Gassman is passionate about working with Partners to help them maximize their relationship with Datto, to help grow their businesses. She also manages the Datto Advisory Board.
In only two years, Ciaccia has quickly become a standout in Datto and in the Channel. She can be seen at most every tradeshow educating MSPs on proper positioning of their business continuity solutions and sharing how Datto’s technology leads the Channel. Samantha is an active community member and provides thought-leadership commentary on a myriad of topics including backup, business continuity, women in IT, managed services and more. Ms. Ciaccia is also directly responsible for the annual Datto Partner Conference.
