ChannelPro-SMB held its inaugural SMB Forum live event in Orlando, FL on March 14, 2012. The one-day event featured a jam-packed agenda of best-practice sharing and compelling, informative sessions. Topics included Cloud Essentials, Emerging Managed Services, Profiting from Mobile Solutions, and Vertical Markets that can boost profits.
Datto CEO, Austin McChord, delivered the afternoon keynote, which honed in on best practices for building a dependable recurring revenue stream though selling backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions. The session titled, ‘Becoming a Recurring Revenue Rock Star’ encouraged IT service providers to build the value, bundle the offer and become an expert when selling BDR to end-user companies.

Attendees of the event voted on award winners in six different categories and the results were announced at the conclusion of the event.
