SVP, Business Development
As Senior Vice President of Business Development at Datto, Rob's role is to oversee various aspects of Datto's programs including events, marketing development funds, vendor management and partner advisory board, all with the goal of helping our partners grow.
With over 25 years experience in B2B markets, Rob has extensive knowledge in the art of IT hardware and software sales. All of Rob’s industry experience has been with 100% channel focused organizations and with channel VARs, solution providers, and managed service providers where he as helped in achieving their sales goals.
Prior to working with Datto, Rob built successful sales and channel teams at Level Platforms (acquired by AVG) and Compaq (acquired by HP).
Rob has has been recognized with numerous awards within the channel including being named “CRN Channel Chief” every year since joining Datto. He has also been recognized on many top industry executive, influencer and mid-market executive lists. Rob also sits on a number of industry advisory boards, including a Chair of CompTIA’s Vendor Advisory Council and the xChange Vendor Advisory Board.
Director of Channel Development
Eric Torres joined Datto, Inc. in March of 2015. Prior to joining, he ran the Datto sales, operations, and business practices for a successful 65 person managed service provider out of Milwaukee, WI. There, he was a member of the Datto Advisory Board and had given peer to peer presentations at several industry events, sharing his knowledge and expertise on business continuity. Once named to CRN Magazine’s “100 People You Don’t Know, But Should” list, and a recent promotion to Director of Channel Development, Eric brings his passion for business continuity and the managed service provider community to this role, and focuses on supporting the Datto Partner Community in growing their business.
Sr. Channel Development Manager
After spending a year covering California as a Channel Sales Executive for Datto, Michael joined the Business Development team in February, 2016. In his role as Channel Development Manager, Michael represents Datto at numerous trade shows and technology conferences throughout North America, connecting with Managed Service Providers and educating them on the value a true business continuity solution.

Channel Development Manager
Jason comes to Datto from GeekSquad where he managed their services and sales teams. Beginning as a Tier 2 technician in Datto's industry renowned Tech Support Department, Jason had a desire to help partners better understand the technology and be an aid in the sales process. Jason now travels to roadshows and channel industry events as a technical resource for Datto partners and prospective partners.
North Carolina native, Lauren has had a distinguished career as a leader in business and technology. A lover of all things tech, Lauren joined Datto after 5+ years at Red Hat. During her career at Red Hat, Lauren managed the North American Enterprise Telco accounts focusing on technical training solutions. Today, Lauren serves on the Business Development Team as a Channel Development Manager at Datto, representing Datto at numerous trade shows and technology conferences throughout North America.
Matt Scully brings 19 years of Sales and Marketing experience to Datto, Inc. He was a Director of Sales in both a Corporate Travel firm and for an Furnished Housing company where he led the team in sales every year he was there. Matt joined Datto as Channel Sales Executive in April of 2015 where he worked with MSPs to further their knowledge on Datto, improve their marketing habits and implement strategies to grow their business.
Desraie is an accomplished sales professional who has demonstrated exceptional channel success. Bringing over a decade of client management and sales development experience within multiple industries, Desraie is known for her focus on customer success through the development of long-term relationships. With a background in the telecommunications industry, she has a comprehensive understanding of the technology industry and the IT Channel’s role in its success.
