Samantha Ciaccia and Christine Gassman were once again named to the CRN Women of the Channel list, being recognized for outstanding contributions to channel development at Datto. The list recognizes individuals whose efforts have positively shaped the IT channel industry, as well as individual strides they are taking at their own companies.

Ciaccia has been with Datto for three years, and currently serves as the channel development manager. In her time here, she continues to make Datto a more recognizable name in the channel industry. Ciaccia serves as a tremendous asset to MSPs by educating them on the proper positioning of Datto’s Total Protection Platform. She also spearheads the Datto Partner Conference each year, where hundreds of partners come together to learn and network. Ciaccia earned a spot on CRN’s Up and Comer list as well.

When asked about her goals for 2015, Ciaccia plans to continue building Datto’s reputation among MSPs. She hopes to improve the Datto Partner Conference each year as well. Samantha has also been a contributor to CompTIA, offering her perspective on working in IT and career growth. In a piece titled My Six Pivotal Moments as a Woman in IT, she discusses breaking down the gender barriers in the IT industry.

Gassman joined Datto in 2013 as a manager of partner development. Upon arrival, Christine helped revamp the Datto Partner Plus program, and now oversees business development for Datto’s 8,000 plus partners. She does so through a hands on approach, often working one-on-one with partners and providing training and marketing materials. Gassman is a true Datto evangelist, telling the ‘Datto story’ at a number of events each year.

In 2015, Gassman plans to continue educating and training partners to help grow their businesses to even greater heights. You can count on finding her at Datto Roadshow events as well. Gassman was named to the Power 100 by CRN.

Both Ciaccia and Gassman are members of Datto’s Women in Technology group with plans to reach out to an underserved community of girls in Connecticut and better educate them about the possibility of careers in IT.
