We are looking for an Associate Sales Development Manager to lead our driven and energetic Sales Development Representatives and Associates. You'll be responsible for developing and coaching each of them as an individual by building trust and credibility, in order to help drive the vision of the business, as well as help them work towards their personal goals. We're looking for this person to drive success by bringing innovative ideas to the table, as well as having the ability to stick to the basics when necessary.

This role requires you to be on-site, in Richmond/Reading five days a week. We cannot offer any remote working for this position.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • Manage a team of 8 Sales Development Representatives to meet/exceed monthly goals: daily calls, opportunities generated for the sales team and number of new buying partners acquired.
  • Coach and develop the SDR's in order for them to reach their promotional targets, as well as manage their overall performance as a team on a daily basis.
  • Support the Senior Sales Development Manager in achieving departmental SDR goals and ensuring all actions are inline with our strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to optimise workflow for attacking outbound and inbound lead generation.  Create outbound activities and campaigns alongside Marketing for the SDR team relating to our goals.
  • Collaborate with the wider Sales teams to discuss best practices, ask for feedback on the opportunities raised by the SDR team, and look for process improvements continually.
  • Maintain a good level of knowledge on Datto products and how they support our customer's needs, including features, advantages, and important examples of usage.

About You:

  • 2+ years experience in outbound sales or business development with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • 2+ years experience in sales management or team lead/senior roles with demonstrable track record of exceeding targets.
  • Solution sales experience and working within the software industry.
  • You have successfully coached and mentored junior sales staff with successful outcomes.
  • You are data-driven and target driven.
  • You communicate simply and effectively.

  • Knowledge of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market
  • Experience of managing a Lead Generation team
