The Opportunity

Join Datto’s emerging APAC team as a pre-sales technical consultant for partners and sales teams representing our BCDR and Networking solutions. A Look Inside the Job

  • Provide technical pre-sales support to Datto sales teams MSP partners
  • Lead technical pre-sales conversations and deep product demos
  • Maintain detailed records in SalesForce, and other CRM platforms
  • Run regular training and enablement sessions via webinars and in person
  • Cultivate strong consultative relationships with individuals in partner organisations to ensure customer and partner satisfaction
  • Represent Datto at industry events
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry, technical and competitive landscapes
  • Support the achievement of bookings quota in your assigned territory

About You

  • Demonstrated experience and success in a pre-sales consulting role
  • Knowledge of common operating systems, server technologies, virtualisation and back-up technologies
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting IT computer, server or network issues to successful resolution
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • At your best in a team selling environment
  • Passion for working in a fast-moving, start-up style environment
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn

Bonus Points

  • An understanding of typical MSP services, business models, and market
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent industry experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of SalesForce CRM
