Customer Success Manager

The role:

  • Work alongside Sales Executive to help facilitate and answer internal procedural, technical, and policy related questions and concerns that may arise with an account
  • Assist and support partners in accelerating their go-to-market strategy by providing assistance in implementation, sales training, end user awareness, and general strategies including pricing, technical knowledge of product, and competitor differentiators
  • Onboard new buying partners and facilitate installing their first device, navigating the partnership, managing expectations, and assisting in bringing both technical and sales personnel up to speed on the Datto product line
  • Be an advocate for trends you observe within your partner portfolio and share these insights with the product management and engineering teams

The ideal profile:

  • 4+ years of experience in an account management, customer success role, or customer service role
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role
  • Enthusiasm for building relationships and sharing knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment
  • An aptitude for the IT industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to be flexible and self-motivated
  • The ability to travel
  • A high level of organisation and ability to multitask
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • A desire to work on a new success team and help define processes to grow partner satisfaction
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and SalesForce; preferred
