An Update on Hurricane Harvey for Datto Partners
It’s been a tough time in Texas. It still is. Our thoughts and prayers are with the residents and responders in Houston and the surrounding areas. When the rain subsides and people start to get back to their lives, attention will turn to making sure homes and businesses are intact. It’s our mission to make sure businesses are able to get back up and running as soon as needed. So here’s what we’ve been doing to help minimize the impact to Houston’s businesses…
We’ve prioritized all support tickets and tech support staffing for affected areas and added resources to the Code Red Team, our dedicated support team for critical disaster recovery situations.
Over the weekend, a Datto Disaster Response Team headed down to Austin to assist partners in the affected areas. The group has a supply of SIRIS 3 devices for backup and business continuity, Datto Networking Appliances to provide routing and Internet failover with 4G LTE, as well as Switches and Access Points for general networking continuity. We are providing these devices free-of-charge for a period of time to help partners in need.
