Data recovery from a damaged hard disk drive platter can be tedious and time-consuming.

HDDs are inexpensive compared to solid-state drives (SSDs) and provide more storage space. However, rotating HDDs have many mechanical parts that are prone to wear and tear after a few years of regular use, increasing the risk of hardware failure.
