Datto Recognized as a BCDR Leader and Top IT Workplace

Datto is proud to announce that both our workplace and our products have been recognized for recent awards.

Datto is proud to announce that the company was named a Silver winner in the “Best Backup and Disaster Recovery” category for ChannelPro Network’s 2015 Readers’ Choice awards. ChannelPro-SMB (part of the ChannelPro Network) rolls out awards each year to vendors across different channel categories, with MSPs voting for their favorite vendors.

Datto’s BCDR solutions received serious attention as of late as we recently rolled out updates and new products, totalling to 5 huge announcements at DattoCon15! In case you missed it, Datto now offers backup for Microsoft Office 365, a new Datto Linux agent, the Datto DNA Router, ownCloud file sync and share capabilities on SIRIS devices, and enhancements to its Partner Portal. The innovation won’t stop there. Expect big things from Datto in the coming year which will help ChannelPro’s readers continue to vote for us as one of their favorite vendors. Thanks to the readers for all their votes!

We’re excited to be named one of the best BCDR solutions in the market, and even more thrilled that MSPs are the ones recognizing it.

Of course this industry recognition would not be possible without the people of Datto, who are driving innovation each and every day. At Datto, we strive to build and evolve a culture that helps our employees feel inspired while they’re at work. We believe employees should enjoy coming in to the office and should also have a clear path for growth. These beliefs coupled with an amazing and talented group of employees earned Datto a spot on Computerworld’s “Best Places to Work in IT” list for the second straight year.

Computerworld bases their ranking on employment statistics, benefits, policies and programs in IT departments. Employees from each company are also surveyed about their work experience. After compiling data and opinions from those who know their workplace best, Computerworld applies ranks.

So how does Datto measure up? Datto has grown to over 500 employees this past year, and after the acquisition of Backupify in December we now have a presence in the tech-hub that is Boston. Our employee benefits include 100% healthcare coverage, a 401k plan with matching opportunities, commuter subsidies, gym reimbursements, tuition reimbursements, and stock options. On the cultural side, we host free lunch Fridays, frequent company parties/outings, free access to all of Datto’s products, unlimited snacks (slushy machine anyone?!) and so much more!

As our headcount and partner relationships keep growing, Datto will continue to expand to more global regions (hint: g’day mate!). For this and all the reasons stated above, we plan to top Computerworld’s chart once again next year!
