Datto Ransomware Report Wins Killer Content Award

By Katie Thornton

Recently, Demand Gen Report hosted the 6th annual Killer Content Awards (KCAs) at its annual B2B Marketing Exchange in Scottsdale, AZ. The KCAs, also known as the Finnys, honor B2B firms that have challenged the status quo and raised the bar in content creation and marketing campaign execution.

This year, the KCA’s garnered more than 300 nominations and recognized 44 winners who were honored during a special awards luncheon. Datto is thrilled to have been amongst the winners - including IBM, Thomson Reuters, Xerox, SAP, and Oracle, to name a few - for our 2016 State of the Channel Ransomware Report.

Launched in September 2016, The State of the Channel Ransomware Report features insights from a survey of 1,000+ global managed service providers (MSPs) about the dramatic rise of ransomware attacks against small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The report provides a unique perspective on the growing malware epidemic from the IT service providers who deal with the virus firsthand. Datto used the research as a baseline for predictions regarding the ways ransomware will impact the small business economy over time.

Datto’s ransomware research has been cited in 40+ publications, including The Atlantic, Forbes, and Bloomberg. The report has quickly become one of the most popular pieces of content produced by Datto and continues to serve in spreading ransomware awareness to IT pros and SMBs alike.
