Convenient Access to Your PSA from Anywhere

Managed Service Providers (MSPs) need the flexibility to manage client demands and get work done while they’re away from their desks. The Autotask LiveMobile application was developed years ago to enable MSPs to access on-demand information and tools while on-the-go. The app was fully featured, but since it was a web-based app there were a lot of problems with speed and ease-of-use.

After a long-awaited overhaul of the mobile app, Datto released Autotask LiveMobile 2.0 to the Apple Store in December 2018. The latest update features a new native login supporting two-factor authentication and single sign-on, along with native dashboards and grids. This is the first major release in the ongoing evolution of a fully native LiveMobile experience.

LiveMobile 2.0 allows for more convenient access to Autotask PSA, and along with that brings a multitude of benefits for every team member. Technicians can log in first thing in the morning to see if any alerts came in overnight since they’re able to access all of their dashboards and drill in to their ticket lists, project managers can track the status of projects and tasks, service managers can access performance data on response times and SLA responses, sales managers can access their sales dashboards and drill into lists of opportunities, and CEOs can keep their finger on the pulse of the organization - all from the convenience of their iPhone.

LiveMobile iOS version 2.0 includes:

  • Improved login
    • Touch and Face ID
    • Two-Factor Authentication
    • Single Sign-On
  • Native Main Menu
    • The main menu is being updated to include existing menu options plus:
      • Dashboard selection
      • Separate My Ticket and My Task lists


  • New Dashboard Navigation
    • Navigate the Dashboard Tabs: To scroll through the tabs, swipe the tabs bar to the left or right and select a tab by clicking on it.
    • Viewing Dashboard Widgets: Widgets on a tab are displayed one at a time. Swipe to the left to see the next widget or to the right to see the previous widget.
    • Drill into data grids: Tap on areas of the widgets to get data grids for tickets, tasks, opportunities, and configuration items.



We will be updating LiveMobile to include native capability in a series of updates in the coming year. Future updates include Native Entity Detail Screens and Updates, Time Entries, and Notes. Also for all the Android users out there - be on the lookout for LiveMobile 2.0 for Android coming in the first quarter of 2019!
