A Preview of Networking-Focused Content at DattoCon

A Preview of Networking-Focused Content at DattoCon

By Scott West

I’m older than most of the people I work with on a daily basis. In fact, I can remember when we didn’t have the Internet. I definitely remember when we didn’t have cell phones to carry around with us. There was a time when people could actually be out of touch with one another. And it wasn’t that long ago.

But we don’t live in that world anymore. In fact, with me today I have a laptop, a cell phone, a Kindle reader, and a bunch of Bluetooth devices that I use every day. I’m always connected, and I know I’m not alone.

The network is everywhere. It’s how we communicate. It’s how we run our businesses. It’s how we live. And every MSP I have ever spoken to is involved in networking in some form or another. Whether they want to or not. In fact, this always connected world we live in is one of the reasons Datto got into networking.

But the truth is, even though connectivity is so important, and every MSP touches the network, there are still a lot of things we can learn. And that’s the beauty of DattoCon.

Learning from Datto. Learning from the DattoCon sponsors. Learning from other MSPs. It’s really a great opportunity to improve our game. And with that, I would like to tell you about a session that will help you improve your networking game.

The session is called Build Complete Networks in Minutes, and it’s run by Andy Katz and James Mason. In this session, Andy and James will be installing a complete business network and will show you how simple Datto Networking is for MSPs to configure and deploy.

Are you currently selling Datto Networking? Andy and James are sure to talk about settings you may not be familiar with.

Are you not selling Datto Networking? Why not? You should attend this session to see what true MSP-centric networking looks like.

The session is on Tuesday, June 18, from 1:50 pm - 2:40 pm. Put it on your calendar.

If you going to DattoCon, why wouldn’t you want to learn more about how to optimize your networking service for your clients?

I look forward to seeing you in San Diego.
